Time for a quick Question and Answer session with Dasjira

Q: How was your last run on BG0 Das?
A: It was a blast. Thanks to all of my fellow Pillagers that helped out. Hjager and I entered Abermenai at level 19.9. We killed a couple of mobs and PRESTO! We're level 20 with proc'd weapons running around the BG's. Check out these pictures:

Q: Where the hell have you been?
A: I've been on a little as Dasjira, not a whole lot. Here's a quick snapshot from a few days ago on the Herald site of what my main has been up to. He's been earning RP's and helping with relic raids. In addition to that, I've been toying with a Runemaster and an Eldritch(Nimue) for BG fun.

Q: Aren't you the one asking these questions to yourself?

Q: Can I invite someone to join Pillage?
A: Absolutely yes. Anyone level 8 or higher can invite new members. I would ask that you do so respectfully.

Good example: /send (name), it has been fun grouping with you. I was wondering if you were seeking a guild at this time. If so, Pillage would welcome you as an addition to our ranks.

Bad example: Join us, join us... or die.
Actually the bad example is inviting without asking. Please don't do this.

Q: What's been going on in Pillage?
A: There's rumor of a pillage member marriage that has just come to my attention, hopefully we can post more details on this site soon. We have several new faces, some of which you can see in the gallery. Additionally, some of our members have joined other guilds. Congrats to them and we're glad you spent time in the Pillage family.

Whew, what a week!
Here's the updates:
The Links page is now up! Cruise on over there and check it out. It has useful links to most everything DAoC and a couple of extras

New pictures of our members up in the Gallery.

The first all guild event at the BG's was a success. Thank you to all that showed up and worked with us. We had a full group of Pillagers representing in Abermenai. Here's some photos:

ALL GUILD EVENT!
This Saturday at 3PM EST, Pillage will be laying siege to the battlegrounds.
All Characters 15+ are encouraged to attend. Characters that are below 15 on that day are encouraged to participate in a raid of the morvalts and musslaklan villages. We must drive them from Aegirheim, for they have plagued us for too long.
So this means for all of you to sharpen your blades, don your armor, and come join the guild in a rout of our foes.
We will be meeting Saturday at 3PM Eastern Standard Time. We will be meeting in Svasud Faste. If anyone needs directions or has any questions, please ask them in the forum or Email Dasjira.

Note: Dasjira has a set of steel skelstodd armor (studded) in her vault. If anyone would like this set of armor, please Email Dasjira or /send in game. First come first serve. I believe this armor should be good for levels 10-15.

Other News:
Updated dictionary to change "Sva Faste" to "Svasud Faste" (Good catch Halfgar)
Adding Battlegrounds pic and Basic RvR Guide soon.

Looking to soon switch the pictures in the gallery to a thumbnail setup.
If you plan on submitting a picture, you don't necessarily have to crop it; but make sure that your character's name is turned on.

Fixed all Guild rankings with one exception, the rank of "Pillager" has been replaced by "Master Pillager"

Added 8 more pictures of out members to the Gallery.

Where to start? First off, thank you for visiting the Pillage website. You have reached the "News" section. Presently, this page is under heavy construction, as things are happening fast for the guild.

First bit of info: Why are we hosted on a crappy geocities site that has pop-ups that cause run-time errors?
Because it is free. Until we can pay for domains with diamond seals, this is the sort of place we will be.

Next up: Guild Rankings. Here is the new guild ranking system to be implemented tonight.

Rank 0 - Guildmaster
Rank 1 - Inner Circle
Rank 2 - Master Pillager
Rank 3 - Crafter
Rank 4 - Pillager of Caer Caledonia
Rank 5 - Pillager of Dun Mudaigean
Rank 6 - Pillager of Thidranki Faste
Rank 7 - Pillager of Dun Abermenai
Rank 8 - Apprentice Pillager
Rank 9 - Initiate to be promoted

Here's a brief explaination: Rank 9. We think no one should have to be rank 9. If you are presently rank 9, we are trying to fix that.
Apprentice Pillager through Pillager of Caer Caledonia is level based (1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30+). Crafter is a special rank that is given to those that have worked on their crafting skill and are able to help the other members of the guild. The crafting skill required for this rank has not been determined just yet. The rank of Pillager is given to those that have shown excellence in recruiting or leadership. The Inner Circle will be made up of the Guildmaster's council. There will be one guildmaster at any point in time.

That said, we've got some fixing up of guild ranks to do. Some will go up, some will go down. All level 9's will be promoted to 8 on sight. Dasjira will be the sole Guildmaster; with Hjager, Halfgar, and Lygr as the Inner Circle. Adamant will be promoted to Crafter. Everyone else will be promoted in regards to that character's level.
Once we get the initial crap sorted out, when you "Ding" a guild rank or feel that you are deserving of a promotion, please email Dasjira with the contact button on the left.

It is an eventuality that some of you will out-grow this guild or join another one. That is completely acceptable and, in a way, one of the goals of Pillage. We are (hopefully) creating a strong group of RvR's for the future of Mid-Guin. The battlegrounds limit the level at which you can continue to play in them. All that I ask is an Email to the contact on the left. No explaination is needed if you do not wish to provide one. ;)

If you are one of the people listed as needing a picture, I will either take it when we do the group picture, or you can submit one to Dasjira with the contact button on the left.

To any member who has not received a green cloak (level 19 and below) or an emblemmed cloak (20+) or their starting funds (about 5 gold) please email Dasjira or post to the Forum.
Note: We feel our members should be able to level without the burden of not being able to pay for horse rides or lowbie armor.
