Giving crafted weapons to keep guards and lords
I've heard that you can give a crafted weapon to keep guards and the keep lord. Is there any specific information availible on this? Such as, what weapon do they start out with? If you give them a weapon that isn't as good as the one they have, will they still use it? Do you get their old weapon in return? Is the weapon lost when the guard or lord is killed, or do they still have it when they respawn? Can you also give them armor?
Sounds like it would be awesome to give a keep lord a 99 qua level 51 weapon with high speed and a lifetap proc on it

They will refuse to be "down graded". But I hear you can really beef up a lord with even drops. I haven't tried and can't remember an official word on this (something Sanya said once upon a time).

I'm not sure what equipment they start out with, but if you hand them a weapon and it's "better" than what they're currently using, they will take it and use it. Otherwise, they won't take it. You do not get their weapon in return, nor do you get the one you gave them back when they die... it is lost. I've never tried giving a keep lord armor.
