[Step #8] The Church believes the cyhreath of the Pennie Mountains may be involved with the evil that led members away from the light of Camelot. Seek out these cyhreath and slay one. Do not tarry as the Church has yet another task for you to perform.
Kill one Cyhreath at Pennie Mountains
[Step #9] Speak to Mistress Ainsliee at the Snowdonia border keep.
[Step #10] Find and slay the Sockburn worm. Legend has it that the worm resides underground and rises only at certain times of the day. Sightings of the worm have benn located just north and east of Caer Berkstead within the Pennie Mountains.
Sockburn worm at 29k, 27k ( near 30k 26k you get a meassage of "the ground below you shifts slightly"). Kill it. It pop at afternoon, about 55 level. You will get a wormtooth. It was purple to me at 47, and there were no adds, though you might want to be sure to pull back far enough so you don't get jumped by any worms that wander by.
[Step #11] Return the wormtooth to your trainer in Camelot. I got 1,881,701,916 experience when I turned in the wormtooth to my trainer in Camelot, about one full bub at level 47.
You will get a lot of XP(0.8 at lvl 47) and a level 47 cloak, "Cloak of Defiant Soul" for cleric.
i made this quest easily and without probs..
my group consited of a good guildmates, lvl 50 smite/buff cleric, a lvl 50paladin, a lvl 50 icewiz an me, lvl 47 pure Healer. The aggro of the worm was no problem, because of tauntstyles and protect on the Icewiz..
We just had do look over 10 minutes to find sockburn...
My friends and I did this quest when I was 47. The sockburn worm was tough, and no one could take aggro off me. It really, really hated me. My party had a 47 arms, 41 wiz, 42 friar, 43 arms, 43 friar and a 42 smite cleric plus me, 47 cleric. All other healers were out of power by the time we killed it, and I had to use my insta heal on myself. It was purple to me at 47, and there were no adds, though you might want to be sure to pull back far enough so you don't get jumped by any worms that wander by. We got jumped by three worms trying to get out and lost two people. Hibs killed the rest of us as we were running away. I got 1,881,701,916 experience when I turned in the wormtooth to my trainer in Camelot, about one full bub at level 47.
Quest is not for ALL as listed but only for clerics and paladins...the paladin reward i beleive is also a cloak with similar stats as listed for the cleric one.
