Caledonia - The Marie Celeste of the BG's ?

All over this land, there are signs of a once inhabited land.

Portal keeps with guards, the center keep under Midgard control.

Yet in over 7 hours XP'ing there, or killing the keep guards, I have only met ONE troll for about 10 seconds.

Where have all the people gone ? Is it aliens ?

It sure is sad, that´s why I lvl:ed my healer over 35 today. Now I bet there´ll be more action...

no one is is muridegrean (watever) too. only bg is thidranki has around 30 albions at prime time most days, maybe its coz stealthers cant climb the walls maybe

I go to Caledonia now and again, just to make sure that the keep is still ours. As long as it is ours, we only need to visit now and again to feed the guards....

Perhaps if you lame Albs or Hibs dare take the keep back, we would see some action there...., perhaps if you tell us your coming you will get some RP's..., or perhaps NOT


Thidranki seems busy, perhaps when the same crowd lvl, the action will move to Caledonia.

I managed to kill 3 or 4 guards, but alas a Viking Archer took me & my pet down as the sim was chomping on the doors :/

Was funny to see how far a one man army can get on the keep

Who fixed the doors of the bg? both were hanging off there hinges after last night. and also how much does it cost to repair them?

Server was downe today so all door are fixed

Went to Caer Caledon tonight. Found the following, and thought I'd share it with all my fellow Albions and the Hibernians.

All this is reported from a 34th season Infiltrator.

There are 6 guards outside. 3 Red outside the front gate. None at the Midgard bridge. None at the Albion bridge. 1 red and 1 orange between the Midgard and Albion bridge. 1 purple (only purple I saw besides the Jarl [keep lord]) at the Hibernian bridge.

There are roughly 7 archers on the first floor/walls. There are 2 on the roof. All the archers I was able to see (I stalked around inside) were orange. There are 4 melee guards inside the courtyard, 3 right at the door, all orange. And one at the entrance to the towers, also orange.

Saw one or two other guards inside the tower, that were orange.

The Jarl is purple. And since it was a scouting mission, I decided to suicide on him. Missed my PA but still hit for 12 damage. However, learnt that he is immune to poison. I hit, and 3 huscarls hit me before he even had a chance to hit me. Meaning, make sure you take out ALL the melee guards on the island before attacking him, as they will all respond. Oh, and two of those huscarls came from outside the keep... Nice wallhacking there.

yep now that report was pretty accurate,, went there tonight scouted around. decided to call up some freinds and now the keeps the same but in hibby hands

I guess I shall be there soon to compile a new report. But I shan't post that report here, for I despise Midgard and would never assist them.

The battlegrounds was introduced when I was lvl 34 shadowblade and needless to say I visited the place. The first thing I do when coming to a new place is to scout out the map. It is the explorer genes I suppose On my first trip I found the Alb keep after some walking in the forest. The next thing I know is that one of the keeps bowmen has put an arrow in me and it is time for a visit in Valhalla. I entered stealth (35) at the moment I saw the keep still in the forest so the bowman must be one unique bowman. The lesson I learned keep the distance to the keeps.

The second tour turned out to have some rvr fight in it. Two alb mages was hiding under the bowmen umbrella at their keep conjuring earth elementals for the few mids to chop at. Due to the bowmen umbrella we could not close in on the targets. One hunter was hot and tried to challenge the mages, unfortunately he ended up with in the umbrella and went down with a shot. A very frustrating situation and we never came to a real fight so everyone was leaving since it was a situation with no solution. I hardly think the alb mages found it very entertaining either.

My next tour took me through the central keep and up on the plain below the alb keep in stealth mode. A very quite evening it was. However, in the far distance a albion popped up. It turned out to be one of the keep guards again and he sent an arrow my way the moment we got into pop range, while I was selecting him to see if it was a suitable target. Needless to say he cut me down. Love bowshots that make 600+ in damage. So a stealth of 35 is uncovered at pop range...sigh, I never returned after that.
