Armor of Faith

My skald, Hammer, is a few hundred arpees shy of 5.1. Hopefully, assuming the login server mess is fixed, I'll log in tonight and get what I need. This will give me 3 points saved. I'd rather not go in to what he's currently sporting, just suffice to say he has Avoid Pain 2 currently. I'm trying to figure out how to spend these 3 points. Current candidates are:

Master of Pain 2

Toughness 2

Armor of Faith 1

Not inclined to take MoP 2 right now since in the scheme of things, it only increases your overall RvR damage by roughly 1.25% over time. Perhaps worth taking later on, but not at low RR imo.

So that leaves me with the other two choices and here's what I'd like to know:

1. Does anyone know if AoF stacks with AF charges on items?

2. In RvR (could care less about PvE), has anyone found Armor of Faith to be effective and at what level? AoF 1, 2 or 3?

Thanks. Jund HasAxesWillTravel - 50th RR 6.1 Berserker - Palomides
Hammer Tyme - 50th RR 5.0 Skald - Palomides
Syf Stormcrow - 50th RR 3.6 Huntress - Palomides

AoF is a waste of rsp because it doesn't stack with af charges.

I don't always follow "Statistics" Or Numbers.

MoP is a great skill imo, I am MoP3, and it does make a difference.

Just my opinion.

And yeah, AoF Blows Zokarik - 50 Champ

Didn't know it doesn't stack with AF charges. That sucks. AoF's out then.

Zub, Hammer's RA's are as follows:

Aug Con 3
Avoid Pain 2
Toughness 1
Purge
LW 1
Aug Dex 2
MoPain 1
MoParry 1
Aug Acuity 1

At 5.1 I'll have 3 saved. Might have gone Empty Mind if it hadn't been watered down. Probably end up choosing Toughness 2 or MoPain 2. Jund HasAxesWillTravel - 50th RR 6.1 Berserker - Palomides

Either are good, imo.

I'd keep going passives if I were you; Toughness 2, MoPain2 (&3), Aug str 1 (can't hurt to get closer to "Thank You Jesus" weaponskill).

as i have stated at least a dozen times in the past, this game doesn't give a shit about "over time". crits are compartmentalized and hence matter, whereas RAs like aug str are totally worthless.

Phleet has a good point here. Where crits matter is the extra spike in DPS they provide... note that you don't LOSE dps in the short term with MOP2 as you might with haste, for instance, but you have a chance of having a greatly increased DPS in the short term as well with more regular crit hits -- often when it matters the most. Thus, don't look at it as a 1.25% increase in your total DPS -- look at it as an increased chance to reduce the number of swings on a particular target, which is what really counts in RVR. The shorter fights are, the more likely it is that MOP will make a large difference given that you get a lucky crit. And if you don't, well, you've not lost anything. Voodoo WynnZ
