Does anyone have this ra out there I have heard conflicting as to wether it is broken or not. If you do have it to what lvl? Would you get it again if even just to throw one point into it..... thanks in advance

Oh the purpose is for my lil ranger.... maybe to get just those couple extra shots off..... nothing like running ooe in middle of battle and having to sit .....

Tireless 1 for 1 point is worth it.

For a Ranger, you'll get maybe another 1 or 2 shots in, that's about it. But sitting, you will notice your end regen a bit faster.

On my Warden, with tireless 1 and his endurance self-chant, he can sprint indefinitely (whereas he'd slowly run OOE previously without tireless).

So tireless1 I can say is definitely worth it.
More than that.... I'm not sure.

I have heard this from an other warden, and I just don't get it. My warden can sprint forever with self-end chant and she has no tireless or longwind, or any of the other end regen RAs.

I have heard from many tanks that Tireless is worthless. Get Longwind instead. Haven't tried either for any toons myself.

As for the "faster regen in combat" that is true. To a point...

Without Tireless you don't regen endurance at all in combat (unless you're attacking a keep door, which for some reason doesn't really count as combat). With Tireless you will just barely regenerate some endurance, maybe enough to get off an additional style.

From various tests that I've seen logs of, it appears that level 1 of Tireless is the only useful one. After that the regen growth is pathetic.

I think the difference betwee Tireless 1 and Tireless 5 was about 2 seconds faster rate of regenning a full bar of endurance. It's certainly not worth the cost of anything above level 1.

At level 1 you get some regen abilities during battle and slightly faster out of combat.

With bards having nill survivability, I tested various levels of tireless on Pendragon at one point. I'm not sure where I put the logs but I could tell no difference by purchasing levels past tireless 1. This was some time ago so it may have been fixed.

Level 1 is worth the throwaway single point. Tireless past level 1 is barely noticeable and does not justify the costly RA points spent.

Level 1 lets you generate about enough END to get off a very low END usage style in a very long fight.

It's handy on a Ranger that is chain pulling. It's handy on a stealther in RvR because it allows you to regen END while you are moving (and you need to be moving after kills, even while stealthed).

Don't take it past level 1.

I have tireless 1 and I think it helps a lot, especially when I am soloing. I can keep pulling blues/yellows, only resting after 6-7 pulls.

On my old ranger the tireless one didn't make a lot of different, but let me run around and get a extra shot end, but other then that it's not worth it. Maybe one point but nothing beyond it.

Got this off vn at some point long ago...I don't remember who posted it.

cut&pasted:

Your End Bar consists of 100 units.

Sprinting Uses up 5 units/sec

Each train in longwind reduces the unit/sec consumption by 1.

No Longwind run 20 seconds
Longwind 1 run 25 seconds
Longwind 2 run 33 seconds
Longwind 3 run 50 seconds
Longwind 4 run 100 second
Longwind 5 BROKEN and = Longwind 4

Tireless lets you regen 1 unit of end every 8 seconds. For every additional train cut 1 second from the regen time.

No Tireless - regular regen only
Tireless 1 - regen 1 unit / 8 seconds
Tireless 2 - regen 1 unit / 7 seconds
Tireless 3 - regen 1 unit / 6 seconds
Tireless 4 - regen 1 unit / 5 seconds
Tireless 5 - regen 1 unit / 4 seconds

Conclusions.

You can not perma sprint with max tireless/longwind but you can go pretty darn long.

Unlike most RAs, longwind gains dramatic improvements the higher you take it.

Tireless is not bad to have at level 1 but you shouldn't waste points on higer lvls of it.

Another use for tireless (in RvR) that might make it worthwhile is if you lag and lost stick. In those situations when you are running around with a group and lost stick, you can sprint up to restick and tireless will help you to regen that lost end while you and your group are running around. Other than that, in combat it might give you one more lower end style. For one point, its not a bad RA- but not particularly useful to me...

Since I've seen the question about tireless asked a lot recently (not sure why) and find myself copy/pasting this thread a lot, I'm going to bump this thread real quick.
