I have run seige engins for a long time in this game. I got lifter 3 back in the day just so I could carry a ram unbuffed.

one of the great things about seige was that if the controller died, moved to far from the device or typed /release the weapon would become nutural allowing any other player includeing an enemy to take controll of the weapon and use it.

this added a special dynamic to the game in which a ram whose opperator had died could be taken over by a new opperator. or if you took a keep and were not on your toes enough to salvage or destroy your rams the enemy could use them against you in battle. I once saw a treb set up at a mile gate that was later over ran and the treb turned the otehr way against the original owners. for some reason this no longer works i am not sure if it was taken out due to stealthers or defenders taking controll of weapons simply to denie them to the attackers or if it is a bug that has not been reported.

I noticed this long ago but had TL to report it to. I hope this can be addressed on the TL boards or in a TL appeal as soon as possible.

It was changed a while ago so enemy realms could no longer steal seige
