Found this on the vault

A. Make sure your group has at least 3 full rams..AND someone to MAKE and RUN the ram.. a full ram is..

1- FERRITE ram cladding
1- FERRITE ram beak
2- Swing harnesess
300-IRON wood

Wood can be gotten in supply forts.. TNN.. or innis

Cladding and beak can be gotten in Innis and supply.

Swings can only be gotten in Supply forts..

B.On the run to the Relic....

1. NO PETS... They leave lag ghosts.. and can attack things.. that cause your group to lose speed.. plus.. they might kill a kep guard and give away our numbers

2. To help with lag

a. /effects self
b. turn off names
c. if you have it really bad.. aim camera at ground
d. if you have it SUPER BAD.. go into first person mode.. and aim camera at ground

3. Try to af on the actual Driver of the raid.. if you start to fall behind.. /send the driver.. to hold..

4. Do not kill any realm guards.. if they are part of a guilded keep.. they will give away our numbers.. and position.. MEZZ them and leave them..

C. At the relic and pulling guards..

1. Let the main assist do the pulling..

2. Use an assist macro.. /macro assist /assist (name)

3. Do not break mezz.. ( dont attack anything you can't solo )

4. Start to move up the hill as soon as the first wave of guards is down.. and keep moving till you get to the top..

5. KILL MASTER MAGES FIRST.. if you have any kind of ranged attack.. please for gods sake.. hit the damn master mages..

6. Rezz dead as fast as you can.

D. Ramming...

1. If you are running a RAM get it up as fast as you can.. get your FACE right on the door to MAKE the ram... then back your ass up.. you do not have to be RIGHT on door to run the ram.. you can be back and to the side.. quite a bit (this may change next update.. but for now.. back up)

2. If you are not running a ram... get off the damn door... do not melee a relic door.. there is no point.. we need you hiting guards.. or killin master mages.. or.. looking for INC..

3. PROTECT the ram ops.. if y ou see a ram op getting hit by a guard.. get it off him.. if you are a healer.. and your group i snot taking damage.. Target a ram op.. and be ready to heal them...

4. Ram ops.. as soon as you have.. the first ram up.. have your team hand you the next ram.. so you will be ready..

5. DO NOT chase.. inc.. Stay where you are stationed.. either at the front.. working on uber guards.. or at the sides.. watching for inc.. dont go runniung after.. RP.. this is a RElic raid.. not rp hunt

E. Once the second door is down..

1. Get your butt inside..
2. Do not go back out side..
3. Stay in the CY.. (how many different ways can I say this.. )

4. Again protect ram ops.. kill guards.. dotn wander off..

The main thing to keep in mind at all times.. is the GOAL.. the current goal..,. at hand..

On the run the goal is to not be seen.. or noticed..

Once at the keep the goal is to get rams up fast..

Once rams up.. need to keep guard spawn under control..

And for god's sake.. listen to who ever is in Charge.. (alot of the time.. this is not me.. really.. but I do the yelling for who ever is actaully in charge)

Common sense goes a long way.. if you really just keep the GOAL in mind..

Missed a couple key ones ...

When on a Relic raid, do not go AFK!!! Yes, thats a tough one, but you think by the time you are old enough to reach the keyboard, you'd have some measure of bladder control. If you really really really have to go, make it quick and make sure you are following someone who has a solid connection.

When people are standing in DL handing out free rams, it would be rather nice if folks actually took them so we have some rams when we get there! Don't give people crap about the weight as I am the wimpiest Luri around and even I can carry some parts with a buff!

When giving parts out to ram carriers, do not give parts to people with a track record of having unreliable connections. Nothing worse then getting there, killing all the guards and finding out that the guy with the swings lost his connection about 20 minutes ago and now you are loaded up with useless parts.

When getting up the hill, there are 4 master mages that WILL WIPE OUT 800+ people if not killed. They are quite simple to kill assuming (a) you have power or (b) you have arrows. Leave the guards to the folks without the range and KILL THE CASTERS! If you don't kill the casters, you WILL LOSE everytime. Once you have killed the casters (which is easy to do I might add), STAY PUT! They do respawn and start mass killing people. When they respawn, KILL THE CASTERS! AGAIN! REPEAT! AGAIN! Don't wander off or get engaged with other non-ranged guards, they are the job of someone ELSE who can't KILL THE CASTERS! For those not engaged in KILLING THE CASTERS! Keep the regular guard spawns off the PEOPLE KILLING THE CASTERS! For the Healers, keep the PEOPLE KILLING THE CASTERS alive! While Ram operators can run a ram while rez sick, you really don't want one of your CASTER KILLERS trying to do the same. The life you save might be your own!

Finally, understand that there are no failed relic raids since the cost of rams is far less then the cost of relic keep doors as some poor mid who went broke last night will tell you. You might go home without a relic, but you also wiped out someone's craft fund by doing so. Remember that point. We are here to not only take relics, but inflict pain on the relic owner. If nothing else, he is now going around begging for money. Repeat this enough and they will offer to pay us to come take the relic away ;-)

One Last tidbit, If you happen to be in Emain while 2/3rds of the server is off on a raid, you really need to rethink your priorities, or for that matter, go join the albs, they are looking for people like you!

Lots of good information in that one.... I could try and say more but I would just be over emphasizing the points already provided.

Thanks for the info Brair.

Might I add:

whoever is driving, take wide turns. If you're group is af'd on you, mind the corners. It's very easy to lose half the group (or the group stuck to yours) on a door at a mg or such.

GOOD POINT POET,

I often do not even af on groups because of that ( and that i usually lag and fall way behind )

Two other things to watch for when driving are... HILLS and ZONE lines, many people not only those with horrid lag such as myself will sometimes loose af on those two things. I just plain avoid all STEEP hills and look for more gradual inclines to climb when i must.
