OK, there is a persistent rumor that MoM does actually affect the damage shield output.
Why argue, when you can test?
General conditions
Test date 6/6/2005
Server: Pendragon
Patch: 1.76b
Necro with 47 servant spec
Abomination unbuffed
Opponent is level 50 test mob [<--edit to add this info]
40 samples per test case
Test Case 1
Level 44 shield
MoM 0
Level 50 test mob

Discussion
There is no apparent effect.
min is the same.
The difference in the max and mean values is reasonable for the small sample size.
Conclusion
MoM does not affect the damage output of the necro's damage shield.

thanks for testing that. i was 99.99% sure it didnt help but now i know for a fact. yet another thing to make it obvious you are the best TL ever. thanks alot for the testing.

Have you tested weither or not +buff effectiveness increases DS damage? i tested once on my matter cab and did notice a slight increase in damage.
