I wonder if anyone knows where there is a template or calculator for enchanting items by a spellcrafter. I went to Motog site - but it seems his site has the same dust with different percentage.

I want to know what bonus % on what level of armor and weapons and what dust to use on them if anyone knows.

Should recheck Motog's. Just click on each piece, then check it, look at the bottom and you will see total % gained for each level.

The level breakdown is this (material tier being bronze, iron, steel, alloy, etc):

material tier/bonus
tier 1/0%
tier 2/0%
tier 3/5%
tier 4/5%
tier 5/10%
tier 6/15%
tier 7/20%
tier 8/25%
tier 9/30%
tier 10/35%

If you see a problem with the enchantment data my site is displaying, please be specific and I'll look into it.

the dusts have different percentages because a specific dust doesn't have a % associated with it. The determining factor of how much % a dust can enchant an item for is the cost of the dust compared to the sellback value of the piece being imbued. On a cheap cloth piece a dust may be good enough for 15% bonus while on a chain piece it would only be good for 3%...just for example.

My thumbrule, which has worked moderately well, is that the dusts you need to fully enchant an item cost about 20% of the cost to make the crafted item. For higher level enchants, it tends to be a bit less than 20%--usually, the single dust or two dusts that gets closest to 20% without exceeding it.

The 20% of make cost is about right.

If you try to squeak by with a bit less, remember that
Mythic often shows 34.6% as a 35% bonus (like with condition
as spellcrafter's already know blowing up on 100% condition
overcharges of items that were hit only a few times.)

Sellback is 75% of the make cost, so if an NPC appraises take
that number, divide the sellback cost by 3.75 and you know how
much to spend on dusts.

Well, 75% is a rough figure, not terribly exact.

Reanad - any example of a crafted piece of armor/weapon (not
counting catacombs extra aurulite for Cats skinned armor,
nor any LW because those are just goofy) that isn't 75%
of the make cost for sellback?

Sure, cloth gloves and cloth boots.

They have different cost to make (16.9711g vs. 17.1461g) and sell back for the same price (10.9350g) -- prices for silksteel. That's 64.3% and 63.8%.

Also, if you look at the source code for Motog's calculator, you'll see that there's nothing in there that's a simple "x 0.75" for sellback price.

(edited to add details)
