Hi All,

I have a few questions regarding my “PvE” chanter, that I use predominately for Pharming Auru. Thinking about taking him for an RvR spin a bit more, and had a few questions.

For reference, here is the pertinent info:

Server: Classic (Garreth) so no ML9

Spec: Mana-40, Enchantment-34
This gives me the second highest Focus-DS and PB-AoE, along with the pet Str/Con, Dex/Qui, and heal proc.

CL5: Went with the buff line, specifically AF, Dex, Str, and Con (the last specialization was for the single target heal)

RR: 3.0 and currently spending 5pts on MCL, and the other 15 on a mixture of AugInt, PD, MoM, WP and such

Basically, I can buff the pet about as much as a non-botted player can (Str, Con, Dex, AF, Str/Con, Dex/Qui, HealProc), and still have spec in another damage line (in my case, the PB-AoE-DD and FDS)

Was thinking on going with MCL and Juggy2. However, I have nearly no experience with Juggy. So…

1) How does a “Juggy-ed” pet do in RvR?
1a) Hints? Tactics?
2) I think taking Juggy would also open up a few other possibilities for Pharming, especially with the above Spec/CL pet buffing choices. What could this char solo pharm in Cats/DR?

Thanks!

Gets mezzed/rooted/nuked down/etc as soon as someone sees a giant chanter pet running at them, I found it to be somewhat ineffective

> 1a) Hints? Tactics?

Keep pet on passive until you can pick out a nice support class in the back, juggy and let it rip on one of them, can also change targets as needed. Tactics - if it gets rooted its pretty well done for the fight, for some odd reason I just have never had much luck with pets in rvr hehe. Between sorc or the chanter.

Perhaps some of the random named red con mobs around random zones(aminita/etc) quite a bit tougher then normal reds =P prob with juggy is 1 minute so its handy for getting initial agro I guess, making it easier for you to keep your pet alive(along with heal procs, you will need to heal it at some point with your succor ally or whatever its called spell I think)

Beyond that, my only real experience farming stuff on my chanter is with ml9 chanter/mana ment bot/druid PF bot, wish I coulda given more details for cats/dr specific stuff, but atm I am fresh out sad

As far higher purps I am really unsure what you can pull off with your CL choice/etc. Best of luck happy

Thanks a bunch for the info Sart.

Followup: If Juggy2 adds 20 levels to a level 44 pet, it would seem to me that a level 64 pet would be hard to Mez.

Is that not the case? Does Juggy not affect the calculation to see if mez lands?

Again, thanks All!!!

Still gets nuked/meezed/rooted like a lvl44 pet

Just its to hit calculations, damage is looked as if it was a lvl64 pet, they still get nuked for 600/600/600/600 when debuff/nuked by a baseline nuker =P

Absorb is treated as tho it was a level 64 mob, so melee pounding on them can be humerous =P Like sorc ml9 templar pets hitting people for > 1500 when they double hit.. teehee

No Extra hits, No higher con for resist purposes, just makes a pet that hits like woah =P

Still gets CCed like a lvl44 pet eh? Well... Thats a deal breaker tongue

Seems strange, with Jug activated, that it's like a lvl64 mob to hit and be hit in melee, but a lvl44 mob to CC. Seems rather lame, and more oriented to PvE I guess.

Ah well, again, many many many thanks for the info.
