Help with Enchantment Spec line.

So i speced 44 enchantments and 31 mana.
went and ran a few tests with a 49 druid bot 42 nurture and 28 regrowth.
grogons in Areus orange and yellow to a 50
used tank pet buffed with pet buffs and then toped off with base line from druid.
sent pet in grabed 5 mobs. pet droped like a cheap date on a friday night.
then i grabed 4 mobs and healed with druid ... it took all the druids power and mcl to keep it alive.
I thought this was supposed to be the shiznit of a PVE spec.
What am i doing wrong?

ok...use all druid buffs, hopefully with some +buff bonues. Use the enchantment spec heal proc and damage add. Throw up focus shield and go to town.
I personally prefer 40 mana, 34 enchants, rest light, but 44/30 is a good one too.
Edit: Oh...don't use the compatriot or zealot. I would suggest the ally, but you can use the friend as well.

from what I understand, the naturalist baseline AF buff > the compatriot self AF buff

dont question and try it
dont use enchantment buffs, use all druid buffs, bases AND specs
respec to 50 mana, you have a buffbot you dont need the enchantment line, get the higher focus shield so mobs will die faster
use the ally, why? dont care, use him, i focus pulled long enought to tell you that ally seems to be better for focus pulling
now get the damage shield on pet, pull 4-5 mobs, get the focus shield, heal with bot, wait till mobs are down to 35-50% life and go pb, rince, repeat

The other poster answered this as well. The self AF buff on the compatriot can't be overwritten by the druid AF buff. His AF buff doesn't adjust for his level, so it's still the junky level 20ish AF buff. A druid buff will help a ton more. Plus, the ally is better at melee and will save your tail with heals if you accidentally get aggro. A lot of times, those heals will also pull the aggro back to him as well.

if you chanter is PvE do not do this. The heal proc on your pet deflects agro on to him and lets you heal with much less risk of agro.
I like 44 enchants/30 mana.
Use ally or the AF which is the main thing the pet neads will be crap.

understood on the pet issue. did not know that af buff was level 20ish.

Another option is to split the difference, go 40 mana / 34 ench.
Yellow focus shield and pbaoe (get master of focus 2 and reduce resists on pbaoe)
First heal proc and yellow DA are nice for building and keeping aggro on pet along with the focus shield.

50 enchants 20 mana here

Ml2/4 convoker(51 more steps till ML9)
jugg 2, serenity 1
pure solo
So far few things I fear death from in PvE, I mostly die from lagging out nto a nice set of mobs, pulling stupidly, or pulling to many purples. I rarely use jugged pet unless I screw up or fighting a taur telete's
Now if I had the ability to use a buffbot I might change to mana, you have and use one go mana just get the weak heal proc.
