Has anyone been able to positively test that melee snares, while Arms Length is up, break Arms Length speed?

The tests I ran showed that speed was still up after I was hit by a snare so I'm looking for data from someone else who may have successfully tested this.

Thanks!

Gwen

So it breaks in a duel, but how about in regular RVR?

Imo, it shouldnt.. this is one of our "getaway" tools. Atleast make AL worth having, mythic.

Strange.

I just ran a test with a Warrior. I hit Arm's Length and had him hit a snare style on me. I saw the "Your movement is slowed!" test but I was still moving at unsnared speed.

What class are you testing with where the snare is removing Arm's Length speed?

Edit: I just tested this with the Zerker TL and had him hit a snare style chain on me. I had AL up before he hit his snare style and I was able to run around at AL speed afterwards. I only slowed down once AL was gone.

I've tested mez in the past and you are not mezed with AL up. Should be the same with stun.

Gives "that target is moving too fast to mesmerized!" message, iirc

I'd guess that it's the prevent flight snare. I have not tested this myself (since I am only RR3 on my eld atm :P) but that sounds reasonable to me, since an above poster said it broke in a duel with a bm.

that is true, if he tested with a BM, the BM snare is backstyle which also opens up for prevent flight to proc as well.

so it could be either the snare or pf that breaks AL. sad

If you can, try it again with the BM and have your logs turned on on both sides. I think the BM should get a message if PF fired off.

I should be able to test this in a duel with a guildmate of mine also.
