I'm curious about how WP affects DoT's. At WP3 I have an additional 17% to Crit; how is this applied to DoT's? Is it simply calculated on a per tick basis, or on the initial hit of the spell?

Wild Power is a MUST RA for mana ments. Get WP4 asap. DoTs without crits are just too wimpy. sad

A critical hit is only shown on the first tick, but the additional damage is applied to each tick after. Re-casting a DoT will refresh the DoT timer IF the damage is equal or greater. So spamming DoTs to get crits is a great idea!

DoT crits are calculated on the intial cast and each tick will be a critical tick. The only thing that is tick dependant is energy debuffing for dots. If someone energy debuffs and it wears off mid-way thru the dot, the rest of the ticks will not be debuffed ticks.

its a must for both light and mana ments.

for example on mobs such as a level 67 siam he warrior i can try to nuke it, get resisted and if not do alot of damage

but with WP3 and my baseline dot i do tremendous amounts on damage on mobs to high for nuke, after saly takes mob past 80% i dot, with crits my dots hit from 100 per tick up to 268 per ticks 5 times, thats alot of garunteed damage

helps alot in farming.
