Question about character builder 05/11/04 1:23 PM
I heard that in the character builder 2 you should put in your level as 50.5 to calculate in minidings. Is this true or is that already calculated in the character builder?

RE: Question about character builder 05/11/04 1:24 PM
mini-dings are in the system. You simply click up to what lvl you want, like 40.5 for the first miniding.

lvl50.5 is a false rumor that someone started long ago. They used to say if you got your xp bar half filled at 50 you would get a mini-ding. This is untrue yet you can go upto 50.5 on the character builder.

You scored as Bondage. Your turn on is bondage... all out. You don't have a specific part of kinky sex that turns you on more than any other... everything working together turns you on. And why shouldn't it? Sex isn't sex without all the trimmings.

Just tried Char builder 2.0 and I could not get it to say 50.5. Don't remember it ever doing it either, but I haven't been here a real long time.

You can type 50.5 in as your level, and get extra points, but you will never get those points in game.

Also, you can delete the number in the bonus points field and leave it blank, and it goes NaN, and then you can spend infinitely. This won't happen in game either.

The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.

The actual truth behind it when people say they're lv50.5 or lv51 is that they are lv50 and RR5+. At RR5 your DPS and AF cap rise.

RE: Question about character builder 05/12/04 12:25 PM
wow didnt know that about the extra dps and af at rr5. does anyone know the amount that they raise?

Across the red drifts and mail-clad forms, two figures glared at each other. In that utter desolation, only they moved. The frosty sky was over them, the white illimitable plain around them, the dead men at their feet. Slowly through the corpses they came, as ghosts might come to a tryst through the shambles of a dead world. In the brooding silence they stood face to face.
"Man," said he, "tell me your name so that my brothers in Vanaheim may know who was the last of Wulfere's band to fall before the sword of Heimdul." ~ "Not in Vanaheim," growled the black-haired warrior, "but in Valhalla will you tell your brothers that you met Conan of Cimmeria."

I think DPS goes from 16.5 to 16.8. Not sure about AF cap though.

Seriously, we should put a disclaimer on the character builder that says: "Disclaimer: There is no level 50.5."

1.62 to 1.65

all 1.62 weps are lvl 50

anything with 16.5 on it is tagged as lvl 51

if oyu use a 16.5 wep before RR5 you will be clamped at 16.2 dps

the af is `100 to 102
