Haste pot & SELF Haste stack? 02/14/07 9:07 PM
Does the Savage's self haste buff stack with a haste potion?

I should have included this in my other thread, but I didn't think about this until just now, sorry.

I think I have tried this before and want to say that it wont stack.

I dont think that the celerity buff from the healer stacks with the savage haste buff either, but I could be wrong.

I was told that it was treated as a celerity buff, which is why it won't stack with healer's celerity. But if that's true, then it would also have to be treated as a haste buff at the same time to not stack with a haste potion o.0

Interesting...

LOL.. Doeridid seems to be knowledgable about the savage class. I am awaiting his thoughts.

It has to do with which tier each spell is on.
Haste, of any sort, does not stack with haste.
Celerity, whatever the source, will stack with haste.
Celerity, regardless of source, will not stack with other celerity.

So, those "alatricous" (think that's spelled right) weapons in AG and GG proc a celerity.
The Healer's conc buff is haste.
The Healer's timed buff is celerity.
The Savage's self-buff is haste.

Do we see the relationship now?
Haste + haste = 8(
Celerity + celerity = 8(
Haste + celerity = 8)

All you did was state what I already know - haste and celerity don't stack. Unfortunately, that wasn't my question. But thank you for stating the same thing 3 times in one post as if I'm a moron.

For the sake of this argument, I'll take your word that savages buff is considered 'haste'. There's only one problem with that - it doesn't stack with celerity, which would mean that it must be considered 'celerity' then.

Ok then, so it's considered 'celerity' (which is what I assumed). But there's only one problem with that - it doesn't stack with haste o.0

It's also possible that it's just flagged to not stack with any other kind of haste, period. /shrug

I might just ask it in a grab bag.

Haste + haste = 8(
Celerity + celerity = 8(
Haste + celerity = 8)

Just so Doeridid doesnt have to repeat himself, I highlighted the answer for you to the answer you 'aready know'

And just to be blunt (Which is never any fun - but I think I'll need to be here)

It does stack with Celerity.

RE: Haste pot & SELF Haste stack? 02/16/07 3:40 PM
The whole, entire reason that Savages used to have the slowest 2H weapons off-limits to them is that Savagery Haste and Celerity DO stack.

That's the whole POINT.

But, you already knew that right?

Fucking dumbshit. Ask a question, get bitchy when the answer is provided, and claim you know something.
You DON'T know. Else you wouldn't have asked AND made a misstatement regarding the answer.

To those asking questions in an earnest desire to learn I'll provide the best answers I can.
To those that THINK they know a thing or two, and want argue over simple explanations...

In a sentence containing 2 verb phrases ("suck a dick" is one verb phrase, "learn your shit" is a second verb phrase), any qualifying phrase is automatically tied to the verb phrase that it follows unless a referential phrase is provided as well.
The cue to you that the two phrases are independant is the fact that "Go suck a dick" and "Learn your shit the hard way, the way I did" each stand on their own as complete sentences. The "and" between them simply connects them in context.

Long and short of it... If you know how to read english, my sentence says quite clearly that I learned my shit the hard way, and it most certainly doesn't read that I sucked dick.

Nice attempt to twist the meaning, but if you're going to try to use grammar to insult people you need to learn the rules yourself.

LMAO. What gets me is that the post was 4 MONTHS since the last post, and the poster just had to dig it up to try and be comical.

Nice retort, however.

use a 15% player crafted celerity charge with your own haste and pretty much cap out a 2her solo!

The player crafted charges aren't celerity. They are haste, and thus do not stack with the Savage's self-haste.

This is the whole reason the Alatricious weapons are cool, as they proc a CELERITY buff which stacks with all of the basic forms of haste: theurg, savage, healer-conc, druid-conc, VW insta, Friar-insta/conc, warden-self.

^^ My apologies. I obviously haven't kept up on alchemy changes sufficiently.

Yup, the charges are 10% or 15% celerity @ either level 45 or 49.
