By us...

Oh, the enemy can still purge the root effect but, as of this last patch, we can no longer purge the disarm. Ya Mythic!!! You've made our much-maligned RR5 ability even less useful. I didn't think it was possible...

Oh, don't look for this change in the patch notes...You won't find it.

LOL They managed to nerf one of the most weak RA. The root is lasting less than advertised, can be purged, any damage can break it and it was too OP.

PS. I don't know if other people are worried about this as much as I am, but more and more rangers are using their DB to damage/stop me while I'm phase shifted. I already mentioned this, but nobody seemed concerned and it was burried under the other posts. This is really a bug that should be fixed ASAP.

shield trip has been purgable for a while now - at least back to aut/sep 2005 when i filed a bug report.

as to the ranger RR5, it has always gone through phase shift. the only way to stop it is via a ceremonial bracers stun feedback. it has been discussed and not sure if that is an intended or not.

one of the limitations to my TL report was not to ask for comparison to other classes, including the RR5 - so it was not in the TL report. all i could do is to ask for a upgrade/change to our RR5.

i was also ask to cut my 23 issues down to 10, and i negotiated it to 12 but i was still limited in how many particular issue in each area i can bring up.

Nightshade TL has 20 issues submitted with his report.

Glad to see the favortism extend to TLs as well.

And Vimble, I don't think you understood our complaint.

The disarm portion of ST is now non-purgable.

the disarm portion of ST has been non-purgable for a while. at least back to jul/2005. it was actually a bug that it was purgable in the first place.

Just because it has always passed through PS doesn't mean it should. PS should make you immune to any kind of attacks and DB shouldn't be an exception.

PS. And I don't understand why purging the disarm was considered a bug, while purging the root is considered normal...

In real life, I went hunting solo in this forest by a castle, and a goddamn guy dressed in black came out of nowhere!!!11

So anyway, the guy started chasing me and I threw my shield straight into his legs! "TAKE THAT!!!!" I screamed. But he did what anyone would have done in real life and simply purged the effect.

So I turned to fight him, and I was like "WTF WERS MY SHIELDDD!!!" So, I stood there looking at him for 15 seconds. Then my shield appeared again.

i have shield tripped a toon in ps before. i do not know if the trip had stuck just before the ps was hit but the shield trip stuck and the toon was stunned in place while he was in ps. needless to say he died.

Y'know, that was pretty funny, and I know it was intended as such, but you really did a good job of showing how ridiculous the whole thing is. A more realistic and tolerable penalty would be disabling our shield for 15 seconds (or even longer). I could live with that; however, as it is now, throwing our shield is about the equivalent of mezzing ourselves.
