Hey All. I don't have a mauler, but I'm putting out a call to anyone who understands German or wants to help.

If any of you use the Charplan character planner, you may have noticed that there's a sizable chunk of information missing from it with regards to Maulers.

It doesn't have any type of con-based HP calc in it. There's no multiplier for the class, or figure for how many HP per CL and per con point the class gets. The class is listed as only having 400 hits from overcaps at level 50. Nor is there any sensible Weaponskill calc.

So this is a call to anyone willing to help. I'm not a programmer (I'm a philosophy undergraduate money_eyes ), nor do I have a mauler, but I know some of you have significantly more knowledge than I do on this, and readily accessible characters to do some testing with. Charplan needs your help.

This is a great way to give back to the people who have taken up the utility as their own (as the original maker apparently stopped playing/being involved) and someone else has taken up the reins.

Attached is an email correspondence between myself and the person taking up the Charplan, and here's what he needs to get something going for even a rough calculation.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or email the address below, and we might be able to help you.

Thanks.

Mauler hitpoints and Weaponskill isn't calculated because of missing data.
You only see '400' because it's the default "add through item bonus".

The calculations weren't done by myself. It looks like the original author
isn't playing anymore. So I don't know the correct base values for these
calculations. So the only way to 'fix' it: someone has to pickup his work
and add the mauler.

Currently I didn't found the time to reengineer his work (and even then I
don't have a lvl50 mauler to check it).

If you want you can check the original source:

http://daoc-guide.4players.de/forums/showthread.php?t=13570

It's german but you'll find a excel-sheet download-link at the end of the
first post.
That sheet is a german/English mix, so only the class names should be hard
to understand/translate (and the mauler is missing).

If you can provide me detail information's I can try to guess some values.

Hitpoint calculation need (only lvl50 char):
- RA-Toughness level
- Hitpoint through Items
- con bonus through item
- con bonus through buffs
- con value without buffs and items but including aug.con.
- realm-rank
(hitpoints for comparison of course)

Also the values without items and/or buffs could be helpful.

For WS it's a little bit easier (again only lvl50 char):
- total-str
- total-dex
- weapon-skill (without item and RR bonus)
- realmrank
- item weapon-skill bonus

-------------- Status-Report (please don't change) --------------
Version: 1.6.7.0
System: WIN32 NT (5.1 build 2600 lng: 1033)
Selection: Albion/Mauler (Alb)/Briton (lvl:50 rr:0)
DB: (en/us) ->Albion (0)/Mauler (Alb) (44) /Briton (1)
Skill: Magnetism: 1;Power-Strikes: 1;Aura Manipulation: 1;Mauler Staff:
1;Fist Wraps: 1;
----------------------------------------------------------

For some reason, the hit points calculator isn't working correctly - The
Albion Mauler is said to have only 400 hit points at level 50, and the
value of the hit points at level 50 (based on con and level) is 0.
